Episodes: 36
Where to Watch: Netflix · Youku · Viki
Aired: Oct 8, 2025 – Oct 26, 2025

⚔️ Plot Summary

At the annual Qingyun Tournament, warriors blessed with spiritual veins battle it out for one ultimate prize: the Blessed Rain—the lifeline of their realm. No Blessed Rain means no spiritual light, drying lands, and zero spirit stones (aka their money). Basically… magical bankruptcy.

Enter Ji Bo Zai (Hou Ming Hao), a fighter from the Jixing Abyss with a messy past and even messier rumors trailing behind him. He shocks the entire Six Realms by defeating Ming Xian (Lu Yu Xiao), the icy, undefeated crown prince of Yaoguang Mountain who’s held the title for seven years straight.
But plot twist: Ming Xian is actually female—her true identity hidden behind an illusionary veil that makes her appear male so she can serve as the crown prince.

During their fierce clash, something goes terribly wrong—Ming Xian’s spiritual veins are severed. Soon after, she discovers she’s been poisoned with heavenly grief, a deadly toxin that shouldn’t even exist. Reeling from her loss and desperate for answers, Ming Xian starts to suspect Ji Bo Zai is behind it all.

So what does she do?
She goes undercover as an attendant at Moonlit Blossoms, sneaking her way into his life to uncover the truth… and hopefully find the cure before time runs out.

💞 Cast Chemistry

The tension between Ji Bo Zai and Ming Yi is chef’s kiss levels of good. ⚡️ Every fight scene feels charged with hidden emotion, and every glance speaks louder than words. Their chemistry walks the perfect line between rivalry and romance, keeping you guessing who’s really in control — and who’s already fallen first. ❤️‍🔥

🌸 What I Liked

  • The female lead’s brilliance — she’s strategic, clever, and powerful 🧠
  • The slow-burn romance and chemistry
  • Both a strong witted male and female lead
  • Gorgeous world-building across the Six Realms 🌌
  • The balance between action and emotional storytelling

💢 What I Didn’t Like

  • The excessive blood-spitting! Every attack scene came with a mouthful of it. 😂
  • Situ’s revenge arc started strong — I loved seeing him stand up to his cruel family — but watching him spiral into something worse than them was disappointing. 😬

🌟 Character Spotlight

💫 Ming Yi / Ming Xian (Lu Yu Xiao)

A warrior who hides her true self behind a mask and a spell — Ming Yi is cunning, graceful, and unyielding. I loved how she used intelligence over brute strength and always stayed one step ahead. Her inner conflict between love and duty made her one of the most complex female leads this year. 🕊️

🔥 Ji Bo Zai (Hou Ming Hao)

From convict to champion, Ji Bo Zai’s journey is all about redemption. His mix of arrogance, loyalty, and unexpected vulnerability made him a compelling hero. Watching him slowly realize who Ming Yi truly was — and still choose to protect her — hit all the right emotional notes. 💔⚔️

🌸 Ending Thoughts – 4/5 Cherry Blossoms

I’ll admit — I wasn’t really in the mood for a fantasy-wuxia drama when I started this, and the first episode didn’t hook me right away. 😅 But once I saw how clever and ruthless Ming Yi could be, I was in. Her brilliance, paired with Ji Bo Zai’s quiet intensity, carried this entire story. ⚔️🔥

Definitely recommend to watch Love in the Clouds (入青云)!

If you love dramas with disguises, strategy, slow-burn love, and a dash of tragedy, this one’s a must-watch. 💖✨
